- **About the Role**_

Reporting to the Global Director, Human Resources, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with executing HR strategy and coordinating various HR activities. The incumbent will come across every significant area of human resources, including but not limited to:
Ø Recruiting

Ø Compensation and benefits

Ø Employee regulations

Ø Training and Development

Ø Employee safety and wellbeing

Ø General human resources management
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

Ø Provide support on a variety of ongoing or new HR projects and initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ø Develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship.

Ø Coordinate and manage various HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.

Ø Maintain job descriptions as job changes, new positions are created and/or as our company grows.

Ø Post job advertisements, sources resume, conduct phone pre-screens, arrange interviews, and conduct reference checks.

Ø Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Ø Responsible for processing the payroll and help accounting prepare reconciliation report.

Ø Assist in the employee group benefit (medical and RRSP) account and monthly reconciliation.

Ø Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.

Ø Administer and maintain HR systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Ø Coordinate employee performance appraisal, engagement, training, and development programs.
- **You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualification and skills sets**:_

Ø Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field with coursework in business, accounting, human resources management, professional writing, and psychology.

Ø 2-4 years of proven related experience working in the human resources field.

Ø An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Ø Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

Ø Strong written, administrative, and decision-making skills.

Ø Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Ø Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ø Must work well independently under general supervision.

Ø Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Ø A valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel may be required.

Ø Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
