The Assistant Manager, Sales will be responsible for supporting the development of new strategic ticketing initiatives, managing a book of business, and playing an integral role in directly leading a group of Account Executives and Account Managers to achieving our department objectives. This individual will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of group tickets, full-season memberships, partial packs, and single-game tickets.
- Inspire and foster an environment of equity where the team feels safe to be themselves, valued for their contributions, can do their best work, and have fun doing it.
- Mentor, coach, and encourage a team of sales professionals to grow the hockey ticket sales business to achieve annual revenue and expense targets.
- Lead and support the conceptualization, development, and execution of new innovative ticket sales programs.
- Support Account Executives and Account Managers in their onboard training, and their professional growth and development.
- Facilitate 1-on-1 functional coaching, quarterly calibration, and annual performance reviews.
- Work in conjunction with the entire Ticket Sales and Membership teams to reach department goals and objectives.
- Participate in special projects on an as-needed basis.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual Ticket Sales & Service revenue targets and objectives, maintaining a dedicated book of business.
- Provide outstanding service through outbound calling campaigns and client meetings.
- Strategically align and work collaboratively with other commercial. departments to create cross-selling opportunities and programs.
- Support Account Executives and Account Managers at Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies games..
