**We are looking for a full-time medical receptionist for our walk-in and appointment based, general practice medical clinic **The job would entail serving patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.

This opportunity is for reliable individuals whose passion for helping others shows in their care to patients. They will be expected to courteously interact with patients and visitors, in-person or on the phone, as well as communicate with other medical centres in a similar manner. The opportunity is best suited to a team player that is self-motivated, reliable, honest and interested in growing with the clinic.

Along with typical responsibilities of a medical receptionist, we are looking for someone who can blend well and contribute to our positive and interconnected workplace atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**

Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.

Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.

Manages office inventory by tracking and ordering supplies as necessary to maintain reception desk functions.

Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism while adhering to policy and procedures during all activities.

**Qualifying Skills**
- **Experience as a Medical Receptionist or in the use of Accuro EMR Software required**:

- Multi-Tasking Proficiency
- Strong Organization skills
- Developed Time-Management
- Telephone Etiquette

**Hours**

This position will be full time, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- HAMILTON, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
