**What to Expect**:
**A day in the life**:
Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency
- Designs and reviews user interfaces, database design, and data models within design constraints.
- Conducts quality assurance, approves developed code, and executes end-to-end system and program tests.
- Ensures adherence to continual delivery/continual integration standards, release methodology, and technical change management procedures. Additionally, creates user and technical documentation, improves development efficiency, and participates in Communities of Practice.

**Risk Management**
- Reviews input into risk analysis and development plans in order to consider the impact of design decisions
- Responsible for ensuring code complies to Industry and Nestle security Standards to deliver Security, Compliance & Privacy by design.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Collaborates with colleagues from different disciplines in a cross-functional team to deliver against iteration targets

**Role Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills, such as Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience including ideally 2-3 in DevOps/agile teams
- Proficiency in C#.NET, SQL, HTML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, along with the ability to independently manage and support Azure cloud software hosting environment (web servers, containers, VMs, database servers, etc.).
- Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the code to create the solutions

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, testing and release tools
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtual environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
