As a **Technical Sales Representative** specializing in Low Pressure Blowers, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth within the municipal sector. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient engineer with a background in municipal sales, low pressure blower expertise, and experience in water and wastewater treatment. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to support our products and services. This is a **permanent, full-time** position covering the territory of **Ontario,** **primarily GTA.**
- **The main activities you’ll take care of**_
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers and market trends within the municipal sector.
- Analyze competition and develop strategies to position our low-pressure blowers effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions using our low-pressure blower products.
- Assist in product selection, system design, troubleshooting and prepare and submit proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the municipal sector.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Work closely with the engineering and product management teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and that product feedback is communicated for future improvements.
- Collaborate with other sales representatives to share best practices and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within the company's SAP.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Update job knowledge for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations.

- **What will help you succeed in your new role**_
- **Bachelor’s degree in engineering** or a related field is preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or **equivalent technical experience**:
- Minimum **5 years of experience in technical sales** preferably in **municipal sales **within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Strong **technical **and **problem-solving skills**.
- Excellent **communication** and **presentation skills**.
- Self-motivated, **goal-oriented,** and able to **work independently.**:
- Willingness to **travel** as required for customer visits and trade shows.
- **Valid driver's license**.
- Experience with **CRM softwares** (SAP) a strong asset
