Condominium Management company located in Mississauga, ON currently has an opening for the full time, permanent **Human Resources (HR) Assistant** role. We foster a dynamic and inclusive workplace that values collaboration, innovation, and growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team.

HR Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the HR department, contributing to the efficient management of HR functions and duties. The HR Assistant role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.

Below are the outlines of the HR Assistant responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Monitor the HR mailbox, ensuring timely responses or forwarding messages to the appropriate contact person.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate interviews and proficiency tests for the Hiring Manager(s) across all departments.
- Ensure timely communication with all departments for new hires.
- Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires. Ensure the workspace, computer, mailbox, appropriate software, business cards and other documents are set up and ready for the employee's start date.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, Health Benefits claims, issues, questions, and any other HR-related matters.
- Assist in implementing HR programs and initiatives that enhance workplace culture.
- Prepare required paperwork for new hires and establish personnel files.
- Maintain and update the employee phone directory and database of employee contact information.
- Enter and maintain employee training records in the database.
- Coordinate floater coverage across various sites, ensuring timely communication of schedules and updates to all involved parties.
- Assist with the preparation of surveys conducted by the HR department.
- Assist with event planning, coordinate orders for flowers, gifts and cards for employees on special occasions.
- Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
