Accounts Receivable Specialist

**About the Role**
We have an immediate opening for a full-time experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk. This individual must be a self starter with initiative, must be detail oriented, energetic, tech savvy, and be willing to work in a very busy, high-volume department.
**Core Duties & Responsibilities**
- Process customer payments from different sources and by different methods in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies and work with other departments to resolve billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generates accounts receivable aging reports by each sales consultant and send out reminders to resolve open issues
- File the net 30 days invoices
- Additional duties may be assigned as required
- Managing data importing and exporting between accounting and dispatching systems, analyzing the data, and ensuring data accuracy by cross-checking
- Managing and analyzing intercompany transactions.
**Skills & Education**
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Business / Accounting educational background, or related work experience
- Experience working with ERP system would be an asset
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
**Working Conditions**
- Good hearing required for extensive telephone use
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Must be willing to work in the office 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
