**Position Summary**

Fully involved in the planning and supervision of program for People with Development Disabilities.

This position is a management position involving direct support and supervision and direct service capacity and responsibilities to clients and their staff.

This position may be combined with other management roles, which are dependent on client capacity and agency requirements.

**Supervision**

The Manager Community Rehabilitation reports directly to the Operational Manager.

And will supervise Program Coordinators, Team Leaders, Residential Support Staff.

**Key Responsibilities**

This position is responsible for adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in Elysian Ventures Policy and Procedures Manual and must promote health and safety in the workplace.

This position is directly responsible for:

- Supervision of community (including support home) and residential programming in rural areas.
- This is to include overseeing all aspects of service delivery, staff management and ensuring client support requirements are being met.
- Understanding of Disability Services
- Understanding of Complex Needs, Dual Diagnosis’s and substance use.
- Understanding of the development of Behavioral Plans.
- Understanding of Indigenous culture and practices.
- Trauma Informed
- An understanding of the broader range of resources available to support the clients and a clear understanding of how and when they are accessed. (Disability Services, AISH, Public Guardian, Home Care etc.)
- Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to staff.
- Conducting and/or participating in all aspects of client intake process as required.
- Communicating appropriately with clients, families, guardians, employees and community representatives; representing the organization in the community as required.
- An operational awareness of ethical practices.
- Ensuring budgets are met and maintained for those programs that are supervised.
- Performance audits and quality monitoring, including those to facilitate outcome measures.
- Hiring and termination of employees as appropriate and in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and with Employment Standards.
- Support management in the day to day running of the agency from payroll to scheduling.
- Computer program skills
- On call support as scheduled.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two years post-secondary education in Human Services related field
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Human Services related field
- Experience working in Disability Services
- Knowledge of Traditions and Beliefs about First Nation’s healings
- Knowledge about the Diversity of Indigenous identities, Cultures and Communities
- Knowledge in the Diversity of LGBTQ2S+ Identities, Culture and Communities
- Knowledge in Trauma and Recovery
- Demonstrated experience providing supervision and service collaborations
- Leadership experience
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Proven problem solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license, Driver’s Abstract, Vehicle insurance of $2 million
- Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR certificate
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

**Salary**: From $31.25 per hour
