**FAMILY REUNIFICATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR**:

**The Company**:
Parkland CLASS is a dynamic human services organization with 600+ employees. Based out of Red Deer, we provide supports to children and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Central Alberta, with additional supports in the areas of Special Needs and Mental Health Services.

**The Position**:

- Assess and develop family reunification services to keep siblings and families together;
- managing transition planning, orientation and integration of families into service;
- overseeing the monitoring the provision of wellness of the children and family in service;
- assist with the development and implementation of the ISP’s for the children in service;
- provide leadership, oversight, training & support to employees within the Family Reunification Program;
- assist with managing the overall administrative responsibilities of the programs including payroll, finances, accreditation files, variance reporting and data collection;
- coordinating crisis response;
- monitoring rehabilitation assessments;
- provide leadership and oversight to the staff involved in the delivery of residential programs.

**The Requirements**:

- Completed post-secondary Diploma/Certificate in Human Services or related field (International Qualifications Assessment required if applicable). Some equivalency of relevant experience and/or education may be accepted
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a coordinator or other leadership role
- Experience working in human services or health disciplines geared towards supporting children and youth with life skills training and personal development as they transition to adulthood
- Experience with and knowledge of Indigenous customs, ceremonies and communities. Position requires regular travel to indigenous communities to plan with families

Strong skills in recreational and cultural activity planning, and rapport building with families
- Has strong skills and training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Has experience in working with families and indigenous community members to develop services

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & Power Point)

Strong organizational and time management skills; and able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions, and the need to reassess priorities based on caseload requirements
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint would be an asset
- Acceptable Police Information Check & Child Intervention Check
- Class 5 Driver’s license, own vehicle, and willingness to transport individuals
- Valid insurance and registration, and acceptable driver abstract

**Hours of Work**:
Typical hours will be a 40 hour work-week; primarily Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. However, you must be able to work evenings and weekends as required, and be available for a scheduled ‘On-Call’ rotation.

**Salary**:

- Bi-Weekly pay $2,103.20
