**Job Summary**:
**What the Role is**

Reporting to the Director, Recruitment, Workforce Wellness & Volunteer Services, the Manager directs, controls, and evaluates the delivery of recruitment services. They are responsible for translating decisions of the program leadership into execution, by utilizing relationship management and working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the necessary outcomes. The Manager ensures their team and department operations are aligned with our mission, vision and values, while working together to successfully achieve our strategic objectives.

The Manager is responsible to support the day to day HR operational needs of LHSC front line recruitment that includes:

- Executing the day-to-day non-management recruitment processes, policies and procedures in collaboration with various HR partners, Corporate and Clinical Leaders
- Developing new initiatives targeted at increasing organizational awareness and effective sourcing of professional & clinical staff to ensure the current and future success of the LHSC
- Managing workflow of human and material resources, day-to-day staffing and scheduling, development and support of a healthy workplace, and facilitation of improvement initiatives and change management, while operating within approved operational budgets and financial guidelines and controls

**What You Will Bring with You**
- Successful completion of a recognized baccalaureate degree program in Human Resources, Business, or relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Current Certified HR Professional (CHRP) or Certified HR Leader (CHRL) through the Human Resources Professionals Association, or in the process of completion preferred
- Minimum five (5) years’ Human Resources experience in progressively more responsible leadership roles
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience and understanding in recruitment and selection, compensation, and job evaluation
- Demonstrated understanding of applicable and relevant legislation (i.e. Employment Standards Act, Pay Equity Act, Ontario Human Rights legislation etc.)
- Member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) who have, or are in process of attaining the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) Select certification program preferred
- Demonstrated consultative client service approach
- Proven experience in a highly developed recruiting environment, developing innovative and creative app
