The Fundraising Department is responsible for meeting the annual fundraising revenue goals approved by the CEO and
Board of Directors. They manage donor relationships, receive, process and report on all donations and seeking out new
funding opportunities. The fundraising team plans and delivers three major events each year and is responsible for the
volunteer program across the organization.

**What You Will Do**
The Events and Volunteer Worker will support the Community Engagement Team (part of the Fundraising Team) in
planning for upcoming events and volunteer activities.
- Attend and participate in the Fundraising Team meetings and Community Engagement micro-team meetings.
- Support with logistics planning and follow-up for signature fundraising events - Fred’s Walk (May 31st) and Street

Eats (Oct 9th).
- Support Gift-in-Kind donation drives.
- Support with corporate team volunteer events including logistics and execution.
- Lead key aspects of our weekly Taste of Regent Park festival in the summer months.
- Create a work plan for their tenure, including plan for task wrap-up at the end of contract.

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Must be between 15-30 years old
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Experience in a non-profit environment (minimum 1 year), preferably in a fundraising capacity
- Experience in an event planning or coordination role (minimum 1 year)
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Planner)
- Able to work flexible hours as required (especially Wednesday evenings in July and August)

**Compensation and Benefits**
- For the Event and Volunteer Worker position, Fred Victor offers an hourly rate of $20.00
- 7% vacation pay
