Lexop is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager — open to remote work within Montreal._

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supervise financial service providers and manage the financial systems
- Manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Develop, automate and improve internal processes
- Manage transactional finance (payables, payroll, reconciliations).
- Support leadership on strategic business planning based on budgets, cash flow and forecasts.
- Ensure that every department is on track with budget and cashflow
- Handle banking & accounting relations
- Handle audit and fiscal decisions
- Handle efforts related to tax credits
- Assist CEO with fundraising
- Report to CEO regarding company KPIs & performance
- Help the CEO with board meetings

**Role Requirements**:

- University degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of five (5) years of financial experience.
- Must have proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, P&L tracking, and projections.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel, analytical reporting tools and proficient with MS Office Suite and accounting systems;
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritizing skills with the ability to handle complex and varied workload;
- Strong verbal and written communication, including experience in writing business plans, proposals, reports, and memos;
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with groups from diverse backgrounds and experiences;
- Strong interpersonal skills, social intelligence, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
