**Plasman**, 635 Sprucewood, Windsor, ON, **is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as**:
**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR**
- Maintain all incoming vendor invoices ensuring they are stamped received
- Coordinate packing slips with corresponding purchase orders by matching them together.
- Ensure that all invoices are entered into the accounting Trans4M and/or Profitkey system and are forwarded to Plant Accountant for approval and filing
- Receive A/P invoices, attaching P/S and P.O., review and add G/L code Review and coordinate weekly payments to be issued from Corporate finance
- Process and pay applicable vendor invoices with Corporate issued checks. File company copies of supporting documents as required
- Vendor follow up to obtain missing documents, clarification of statements and to address any unresolved accounts payable issues
- Complete deposits and disbursements schedule daily
- Retrieve bank reports from bank system, faxing to associate plants, clearing cheques when necessary, wire transfers and responsible for bank reconciliation of all bank accounts, handles bank deposits and maintaining spreadsheets of all deposits and automatic transactions processed by the bank
- Complete borrowing certificate and send to the bank
- Month end completion of POAI/Packing Slip accrual
- Maintain Customer Invoicing Cycle (prepare, enter, file)
- Maintain Cash Receipts Cycle (prepare, enter, file)
- Communicate with customers via phone/electronic mail to resolve A/R issues and sustain solid customer relationships
- Maintain pricing matrix and ensure accuracy in the system
- Prepare miscellaneous A/R A/P reports as required
- Responsible for month-end close and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including Inter-company reconciliation
- Preparation of yearend reports for audits
- Support associated accounting staff and processes where required
- Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times
- During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures, and participate in corrective action activities as necessary
- Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained
- Complete any other duties as assigned
- Assist in any way to any employee, necessary to promote a successful operation emphasizing customer satisfaction
**Minimum Education/Or Designation Requirements**
- Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all College level business program.
**Work Experience Requirements**
- Must have at least 2 years accounting experience. Must also have demonstrated proficiency and understanding of applied accounting principles and system software; such as Trans4M
- In addition, software experience with Excel, Microsoft Word
