**Payroll Coordinator**

The Payroll Coordinator will assist with the bi-weekly payroll process. You will process timesheets, update payroll records and answer any employee questions about payments. You will ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time. This position is based out of our Vancouver, BC office and reports to the Head of Finance.

**Your Responsibilities**

In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build in this role, you'll also:

- Support with the bi-weekly payroll processing for salaried, hourly and seasonal employees in Canada and the US
- Enter data into the ADP system and ensure timecards are clear of any errors
- Enter new employee information and sets up their access to ADP. This includes tax withholding and direct deposit set up.
- Work with Hiring Teams to activate new hires and answer payroll and onboarding related inquiries
- Answer employee questions about payments, resolves payroll issues or inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with new hires, terminations, and issuing ROE's
- Run basic and standardized payroll reports

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- 2+ years payroll experience, experience with ADP mandatory
- Some post-secondary education in relevant to accounting and/or payroll or equivalent amount of education and work experience
- An understanding of Canadian and/or US payroll
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft office, Excel, Word and Office 365, particularly Excel
- An analytical mind with good math skills
- Weekend work may be required for this position, particularly from mid-June to August
