**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our team at Canadian Shield Health Care Services. In this role, under the direction of the Wellness Clinical Director, you will assist in leading the Mental Health & Wellness division. You will contribute to the enhancement of clinical practice across Canadian Shield Health Care Services various regions including - but not limited to -Sudbury, GTA, and North Bay for both in-person and virtual services. You will model best practices by selecting and managing cases that exemplify specific clinical needs.
- Provide advanced clinical skills to offer assessments and intervention services to clients
- Maintain current with clinical best practices, which will be instrumental in demonstrating specific clinical needs to other clinicians
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other clinicians, ensuring quality care
- Develop and deliver educational programs and training to enhance the assessment and intervention process
- Implement and maintain a competency-based supervision model to develop other clinicians
- Uphold the quality of assessment, intervention, and supervision practices
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic client care.
- Offer comprehensive client education and support for a positive healthcare experience.
- Hold a valid degree in the healthcare field and be in good standing with the appropriate regulatory College.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check valid within the year.
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excel in a collaborative and fast-paced healthcare environment.
- A strong understanding of medical protocols and best practices.
- Be willing to travel periodically to other area offices.
- Proven experience in the field of mental health and addictions.
- Proven experience in clinical supervision, supporting a clinical team of varied designations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver education, consultation, and leadership in the assessment and intervention process.
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Advanced knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc) is an asset.
- Experience in Alayacare Program is an asset.
- Experience in TELUS CHR EMR is an asset.
- French speaking is an asset.
