We are currently hiring for a Street Sales Coordinator position in Kitchener. If you’re highly motivated and are ready for an exciting career that will shape the future of the foodservice industry, we want to hear from you.
**Position Summary**:
- The Street Sales Coordinator role is a dynamic and customer facing position responsible for assisting the street sales team in achieving sales targets and providing excellent service. This role will also include Bid Coordination which will play a crucial role in the preparation and submissions of bids ensuring all aspects of the process are being handled efficiently and professionally.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Customer Engagement with potential street customers by introducing them to the company’s products and services.
- Provide Sales support to assist with vacation coverage, queries and address any concerns promptly and professionally with our independent operators.
- Provide strong Customer Service to assist customers in completing purchases and providing payment assistance if necessary.
- Participate in the Bid Management process, and oversee the entire process which will include collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all bids comply with the relevant legal, regulatory and client specific requirements.
- Review and submit bids on behalf of the Sales team members.
- Track all bid submissions to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes, utilizing best practices and opportunities for improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or a related role.
- Experience in bid coordination or a similar function is preferred.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times to enhance the customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of bid documents.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem solving skills to address issues that may arise in bid process as well as customer retention.
- Class G Driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle for work related travel on occasion.
- Flexible to accommodate work outside of regular business hours

- Must be able to build relationships with different departments, customers, purchasing, and credit.
- Desire to gain the knowledge, habits and strengths of a Territory Manager for future prospects.
- Being able to demonstrate and decide the suitability of product lines that will be the best for Flanagan and various customers.
