Marketing and Community Coordinator

**About the Company**
We are a dynamic commercial real estate company specializing in the development and management of sustainable Class A office spaces and a newly launched co-working facility. With a strong focus on community engagement, marketing, and customer service, we are seeking a **Marketing and Community Coordinator** to help drive our occupancy rates, promote our spaces, and build a strong, vibrant community both online and offline.
**Position Overview**
The Marketing and Community Coordinator will be responsible for creating content and executing marketing strategies aimed at increasing occupancy for our commercial and co-working spaces. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of marketing communications, content creation, and community engagement. The position requires a blend of creativity, organization, and excellent communication skills to create a compelling brand presence and engage with potential and current tenants.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **1. Sales and Marketing Strategy**: Develop and implement marketing campaigns both in person, and online to drive leasing and occupancy for commercial and co-working spaces.
- **2. Content Development**: create and execute marketing copy for websites, newsletters, social media, print materials, and other digital channels.
**Additional Responsibilities**
- **1. Website Management**:Ensure the website is up-to-date with timely news, events, and announcements, and ensure content is relevant and engaging.
- **2. Community Engagement and Outreach**: Plan and organize community events that promote tenant engagement and a positive, collaborative atmosphere within the co-working space.
- **3. Leasing Support**: Conduct tours of available spaces, particularly the co-working facility, and assist in leasing discussions and follow-ups.
- **4. Brand Consistency**: Create and maintain promotional materials that align with the company’s brand guidelines and ensure a consistent brand experience.
- **5. Customer Service**: Provide excellent service to prospective and current tenants, answering questions and assisting with their needs.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:A degree in Communications, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
**Experience**
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing and/or communications role.
- Experience in a real estate setting is considered an asset.
- Experience developing marketing and communication strategies with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and best practices for web writing.
- Experience providing excellent customer service and handling inquiries with professionalism.
**Skills**
- Excellent promotional and persuasive writing skills with a proven ability to create compelling content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in marketing
- Ability to build and foster a community atmosphere, both in person and offline.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Waterloo's tech ecosystem is a plus.

**Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position. The normal hours of work are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
