**A Snapshot of Your Day**

On a daily basis you will be responsible for defining thestrategy and pulling together the relevant details to submit change orders ordefend against project and contractclaims and change orders. You will workclosely with and conduct regular monitoring meetings with various businesses tomanage contractual change and claims. This entails proactively identifying whenchanges may occur on project/contracts and helping the businesses in promotingor protecting their contractual rights by making or defending claims and changeorders. While you will work closely with legal, the role requires a generalunderstanding of contracts and the legal framework under which claims aremade. The role also includes guiding andimplementing best practices with the businesses.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Ability to manage change and promote or protectour contractual rights through the contract lifecycle; from inception to expirywith focus on minimizing our risk exposure
- Application of our tools and processes to bestinfluence the commercial deals you will work on
- Ability to interpret contractual provisions(with assistance from legal as appropriate)
- Bringing a value-add in maintaining orenhancing financial margins
- Managing and leveraging external relationshipswith customers, supplies, and internal stakeholders
- Holding a thorough understanding of projectstrategy with focus on supplier and customer management

- Attention to detail: You are someone who canask the right questions and gather the pertinent technical, cost, and scheduledata to support/defend claims
- A general understanding of contracting in largeconstruction projects, preferably power plant related.
- Ability to work with documentation in French

You will work with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will report into both the Canadian Legalorganization, as well as, the North American Legal Claims organization. Both organizations are highly professional,respectful, and collegial with a mind towards innovation and growth.
