Job Summary

Emterra Group is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Claims Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk, Health and Safety Department, you will be responsible for managing occupational claims and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage occupational claims from initial reporting to resolution, ensuring compliance with provincial workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct accident investigations and gather relevant information to determine the cause of injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans in collaboration with employees, managers, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide training and support to employees on workplace safety and health procedures.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in workplace accident prevention, F7 administration, return-to-work, and occupational disability management.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
  • Occupational Health and Safety certification and Certified Disability Management Professional certification strongly preferred.
