Occupational Claims Management Specialist

Job Summary
Emterra Group is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Claims Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk, Health and Safety Department, you will be responsible for managing occupational claims and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accident investigations and communicate with employees, managers, and external agencies to ensure a thorough understanding of the incident.
- Develop and implement return-to-work plans to facilitate a safe and timely return to work for injured employees.
- Collaborate with the Risk, Health and Safety Department to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of claims and return-to-work plans.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in occupational claims management or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Occupational Health and Safety certification and Certified Disability Management Professional certification strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and external agencies.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make sound judgments.
