Lift Equipment Inspector

Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Lift Equipment Inspector at Greuter Engineering Ltd. located in Vancouver, BC. As a Lift Equipment Inspector your day-to-day tasks will involve inspecting and assessing the condition and safety of lift equipment; such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, manlifts and other lift equipment.
**Duties**:
- Responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying any potential issues or hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Write inspection reports and maintain detailed records of inspections
- Developing and nurturing client relationships, adept at collaborating with clients to troubleshoot and resolve on-site equipment challenges.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lift Equipment Inspector or in a similar role
- Visual weld inspection and/or non-destructive testing certifications
- Welding or fabrication experience is an asset
- Knowledge of lift equipment systems, components, and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Post secondary education or a red seal certificate is an asset
**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
