Our client, a senior crude oil and natural gas production company, with continuing operations in its core areas located in Western Canada, the portion of the North Sea and Offshore Africa, is currently looking to hire Marine Inspectors in British Colombia and Québec.
The Marine Inspectors will be assigned to a variety of projects and will be required to do QA inspections during the fabrication of different equipment at vendor shops based on the inspection and test plan provided by the client. The Marine Inspectors will ensure the quality and compliance as per the scope of the project.
The Marine Inspectors will be set up as contractors and be contacted when work is available.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum certifications required: CWB Level II with marine equipment inspection experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with marine inspection work. The ideal candidates will have inspection experience with marine vessels, onshore platforms, port facilities, and others related maritime infrastructure to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Candidates must be proficient in using several types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook). Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition. Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail. Pay range is $55 to $60/hour depending on experience. Work schedule: Ad hoc – as required by the client.
