Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals in Vancouver, BC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of construction equipment. This includes earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.

Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and making required repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.

Requirements
  • Minimum one year of related experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
