Finance Coordinator - Roles and Responsibilites will include, but will not be limited to:
**Administrative Leadership**
- Supporting the Finance Director and HoS in leading and managing all financial and administrative efforts of the school;
- Communicating systematically with the Finance Director and HoS about progress and challenges in the school;
- In consultation with teachers and staff when appropriate, making recommendations to the Finance Director and HoS with respect to school improvement processes;
- Working collaboratively with HoS to consistently implement the teacher evaluation protocol for the identification and development of outstanding teachers and the successful improvement or release of non-performers;
- Supporting HoS in managing employee-related issues, including organizational behaviour in the establishment and promotion of a positive working and learning culture.

**Finance Responsibilites**
- Reviewing, monitoring and analysing on a monthly basis expense spending and comparison to previous year;
- Preparing monthly financial statements;
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations;
- Managing accounts receivable including customer invoicing and collection of cash receipts;
- Managing accounts payable including payment and tracking of all vendor amounts;
- Overseeing the management of school accounts including ordering of resources, coordinating school excursions, and liaising with vendors where appropriate;
- Answering the phone and taking messages;
- Maintaining and updating staff training;
- Participating in regular staff meetings, one Parent Information Night, and other whole school events;
- As required, participating in professional workshops and conferences, including training in and use of school-wide student information system;
- Completing and participating in school-sponsored surveys as requested;
- Possessing a flexible and positive can-do attitude.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
