ONE Properties (ONE) is seeking an **HR Coordinator and Office Administrator** to join the vibrant team at our office in Toronto, Ontario.

**The Opportunity**

This is a one-year contract, with potential for long-term opportunity. It’s a great role for someone launching into or early in their career in Human Resource Management.

Based in Toronto, reporting to the HR and Office Manager, the HR Coordinator and Office Administrator will be a first point of contact for most of ONE’s 150+ team members on general human resources support and administration. They will support all HR operations and processes in the employee lifecycle from recruiting, hiring and welcoming through the employee experience with compensation and benefits administration, development plans and performance management, and offboarding. In addition, they will also provide administrative support for the Toronto office operations. They must have excellent communication skills, experience working independently, have an acute attention to detail, strong computer skills and a good understanding of human resources practices.

This role can be fast-paced and requires effective communication and teamwork to ensure exceptional outcomes are achieved in a timely fashion.

**Accountabilities**

**Human Resources Administration**
- Work directly with the Chief Administrative Officer and, the HR Manager and the Director of Marketing & Internal Communications in executing HR policies, programs, and processes.
- Maintain HR systems and records.
- Support welcoming of new employees and setting up promotions for success with onboarding process
- Maintain official employee records on SharePoint and in ONE’s HR operating system (BambooHR)
- Contribute to ONE’s Performance Management program including support for goal setting, ongoing coaching conversations and personal development plans
- Contribute to Employee Engagement program and measurement
- Contribute to compensation administration, including benefits enrolment and updates
- Support development of resources/tools for People Managers
- Support HR communications to employees
- Support administration of offboarding processes
- Participate on ONE’s Social Committee

**Toronto Office Administration and Executive Support**
- Contribute to planning and organization of internal and external events
- Manage accounts and supplies for mail/deliveries/couriers
- Manage stationery supplies and equipment (i.e. photocopiers, telecom), liaise with service providers
- Manage office kitchen supplies and maintain kitchen appliances
- Maintain common areas: newspapers, displays, floral arrangements, meeting room tech
- Contribute to a safe work environment: serve as Fire Warden and on ONE’s Health & Safety Committee
- Serve as liaison for office building property management
- Prepare and organize documents, information, and setup for meetings
- Provide support for travelling executives in Toronto (i.e., office hoteling)
- Any other duties as appropriate for the role that are necessary to advance the goals and objectives of ONE

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
- CHRP designated or working toward obtaining a CHRP designation is an asset
- Working knowledge of or ability to learn employment standards in relevant jurisdictions (i.e. the Ontario Employment Standards Act and the Alberta Labour Code)
- Excellent computer skills with the desire to learn more in addition to above average Word, Excel, PowerPoint other Microsoft skills
- Demonstrate professionalism, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A criminal verification check is required for employment
