**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a multi-disciplinary project team-
- Prepare and manage project budgets, work plans and schedules-
- Business development - may include directing some construction administration projects where included with our detailed design assignments-
- Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public-
- Prepare correspondence, reports and proposals-
- Work with senior leadership to grow the transit business of Morrison Hershfield- Qualifications:
- Transit or complementary industry experience-
- Experience managing technical integration including safety, security, requirements management and verification and validation-
- Minimum of 4 years proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects while dealing with clients and top-level management-
- Post-secondary education in engineering-
- P.Eng. or ability to achieve P.Eng-
- PMP designation is an asset-
- Experience of varying project contracting types and sizes-
- Strong business acumen and vision-
- Ability to set goals and manage priorities-
- Professional attitude toward management and interpersonal communication-
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills-
- Excellent time management skills-
- Excellent computer skills-
- Demonstrated leadership to motivate and maximize individual performance-
- Understanding of organizations priorities and ability to make trade-off decisions**Job Type**:
