**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with the ongoing development and execution of a digital communications strategy that leverages multiple digital channels and tactics, and create relevant, accurate and up-to-date content for both the website and social media channels for the organization
- Following social media best practices, develop a consistent voice, narrative, and tone for the organization’s online brand that differentiates us and targets messages to multiple audiences
- Working with the Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist and other departments, identify opportunities to position the CEO as a thought leader and develop regular, engaging content to share across his social media channels
- Working with our Search consultant, consistently update and optimize SEO/SEM tactics and regularly report on analytics to the Director and Executive Management Team
- Lead the development and execution of targeted digital marketing campaigns to enhance awareness and drive online traffic
- Develop and execute A/B testing programs to improve campaign performance through optimization of bids, device, audience segments, geo and demo targets, creative, compelling ad and landing page copy, etc.
- Assist with training Toronto Global team members to maximize the use of digital and social media in their roles to enhance their individual brands and generate leads organically
- Monitor campaigns and generate reports/updates for management with recommendations for in-market and future campaign enhancements, in relation to search, social, content and website analytics
- Monitor media and remain abreast of trends, new statistics, and reports that articulate the business advantages of locating in the Toronto Region

**DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- University/college degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field, or commensurate combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing or similar role
- Proven experience managing and optimizing cross-channel marketing campaigns, including website, search, display, and social media communities
- Proven paid media experience, including developing strategy, content and media buys/distribution of targeted resources
- Experience planning a comprehensive Digital Marketing strategy
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and the ability to analyze/interpret keyword and digital marketing data
- Strong communication and creative writing skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to Toronto Global visual identity guidelines and voice
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with a cross section of stakeholders and service providers
- Experience with desktop publishing tools (Adobe Creative Suite), content management systems (Kentico), media monitoring tools (Meltwater), marketing automation (Pardot), analytics (Google Analytics) and CRM tools (Salesforce) is considered a strong asset
- An interest in current events, global business news and events especially as they relate to economic development, as well as new digital marketing platforms and trends
