**Your role**

Radio-Canada ICI-Estrie is currently looking for On-Call reporters with a wide range of interests to provide backfill support and ensure ongoing operations in the newsroom.
Reporters will be assigned primarily to produce content for all Radio-Canada platforms (TV, radio, digital). They will write articles and file stories per corporate standards and policies.

**Please note these are on-call, casual, part-time opportunities and shifts may include being assigned to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Two (2) years’ of journalism experience (an acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered).

**Skills**:

- Extensive general knowledge.
- Keen interest in the economy, business, politics or social media an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of regional, provincial and national affairs.
- Solid command of writing and story research techniques.
- Solid command of the working language (French); very good knowledge of the other official language (English) an asset.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices an asset.
- Good knowledge of IT and social media.
- Interest in and aptitude for learning new tools.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while being self-starting and resourceful.
- Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible, irregular hours depending on the assignment.
- Valid driver’s license.
