Reporting to the Manager, Compensation & Benefits, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst will Administer a range of Human Resource programs and services specializing in compensation, benefits, and pension administration.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Supports the administration of the Firm’s pension plans, including preparing, tracking, and remitting contributions
- Provides support to the Manager in the overall administration of the Firm’s pension plan through planning and administering information sessions, distribution of annual statements, completion of remittances to custodians and responding to basic Plan member questions
- Maintains the pension database and pension benefit payments lists, consulting with pension vendors and reviewing monthly/annual statements to ensure accuracy of Firm records
- Supports the administration of the Firm’s 401(k) plan including preparing, tracking, and remitting contributions
- Responds to, and completes compensation and benefits surveys (both cyclical and adhoc including salary forecast, total rewards, pulse surveys, etc.), tracking participation and timing of results, ensuring results are appropriately filed and managed for the C&B team
- Supports the administration of the Firm’s health, dental & life insurance benefit plans, including responding to basic employee inquiries and conducting research
- Supports the management of the firm’s short-term and long-term disability processes
- Manages the “over-age” benefit process
- Manages the Firm’s “Wellness Initiatives” through delivery of local events, such as lunch-&-learns, flu clinics etc., and national programs (such Mental Health Week)
- Supports the annual salary and bonus review process including data entry, report preparation, letter generation, payroll integration etc.
- Performs other related duties as required

**Position Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**

The position requires a community college diploma in Business, or a related discipline is required and a Certification in Human Resource Management (CHRP) and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designations is an asset. Two to five years’ experience working in a Human Resources environment ideally with exposure to compensation, pension, benefits, payroll and HRIS. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Analytical skills, detail orientation and mathematical accuracy required for salary administration and job evaluation
- Thorough understanding of legislation as it applies to benefits, pension, payroll and compensation matters
- Developing knowledge of US benefits, 401(k) and payroll administration
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple demands
- Focused listening, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required to deal with a variety of individuals on a regular basis
- Strong HRIS experience

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, with a requirement to work partially in the office and an opportunity to work remote.
