Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant is responsible for conducting all day-to-day financial functions at Medical Arts Pharmacy and Clinic including accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. The Bookkeeper acts as the primary resource for timely, accurate financial information for employees and vendors.
Major Responsibilities:
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Maintain general ledgers
- Prepare financial statements and Prepare and Submit Yearend documents
- Complete and submit payroll remittances/Prepare T4’s and ROE’s
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with business finances
- Experience with Payroll administration and Government Agencies
- Proficiency with Quickbooks, Excel, Word and Sage 50 (Simply Accounting)
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Work Location: In person
