Tootsi Impex offers an extensive line of services based on vertical integration, including co-manufacturing, sourcing, diversity, and a professional quality control team to care diligently for products.
The Product Manager effectively identifies customer needs by analyzing the current market and following the trends. By collaborating with purchasing department, they will be able to introduce new, innovative products to our Canadian & USA markets.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manage the product lifecycle for elan and Yupik.
- Manage the products lifecycle for bulk products
- Optimize the number of SKUs based on the different markets.
- Conduct market research for new products (analyze opportunities, competitors, and other factors as needed).
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to better focus on customer needs and market requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, R&D and operations to develop new products launch plans.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop the marketing plan for a new product.
- Identify market opportunities and trends.
- Conduct annual pricing analysis, review price strategies
- Conduct portfolio management for new products.
- Conduct the Stage-Gate process (new product potential listings and reviews) as the process owner
- Give ongoing training to the sales and marketing team about the products
- Work closely with R&D and production departments
- Support private label projects with feasibility and cost analysis
Perform other tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**
- A university degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite, systems and technology
- Organizational and planning skills
- Leadership, influencing and decision-making skills
- Superior verbal and written skills
- Attention to detail and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
**Working conditions**
Office, seated position, regular 40-hour weekly schedule Monday to Friday
**Physical requirements**
Mobility: the incumbent is required to walk up/down stairs, work in a seated position or stand for extended periods, have hand-eye coordination with superior dexterity and ability to lift, pull objects weighing up to 10kg.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
