Overview of the Role
This is a 18 month fixed term contract position
Salary range from $88 325 à $115 930
**Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.**
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Analyse, manage and optimize a product portfolio and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in terms of growth, revenue, market share, profits and SKUs efficiency;
- Manage a wide range of product-related projects with a multidisciplinary team (Sales, R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.);
- Drive the launch of new products, following an established product launch process, within timelines, from business case to market;
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that product objectives are translated into Marketing initiatives;
- Act as the technical expert in his/her assigned product categories;
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- University degree in business administration/management/marketing or a related field (MBA considered an asset);
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product/Brand Manager;
- Bilingualism (spoken and written ) in English, and in French: the employee will need to write/review documents in English for use across Canada. He/she will also be required to communicate and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues to accomplish various tasks.
- Provide leadership, good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a rapidly changing business environment;
- Strong business sense, analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent people management skills;
- Strong project and time management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams;
- Experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and/or the food industry is an asset;
