**Hybrid Job**: This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.
**Make a difference**
Reporting to the Manager, Strategy, the Coordinator, Information and Business Support supports initiatives, and manages projects that further Toronto Community Housing’s strategic goals in a manner that supports TCHC's tenant focused culture.
As a Coordinator, Information and Business Support you will be responsible for facilitating, developing and implementing strategies, policies, procedures and standards based on industry best practices and operational needs. You will measure and analyze performance for systems, practices and programs that are achieving desired impact in TCHC communities and are aligned with policies and corporate strategic goals. This position helps ensure that TCHC is working to deliver affordable housing and consistently good services to tenants, to provide value to our sole shareholder, the City of Toronto, and to contribute toward being part of the solution to the complex issues of poverty, affordable housing and community revitalization in Canada’s largest city.
**What you’ll do**
- Strategic Planning_
- Coordination, planning and alignment of the Division’s work with that of other corporate divisions
- Co-ordinate and support the production of strategic plans
- Consult and collaborate with other business units as appropriate to align strategic outcomes
- Analysis, Evaluation and Reporting_
- Develop evaluation frameworks to support division outcomes
- Conduct reviews of specific processes and practices and recommend solutions to achieve Division outcomes and targets
- Develop and manage tracking systems for the division as they relate to achieving outcomes
- Review and analyze performance measurement results and progress updates on divisional work, and develop recommendations to improve business processes
- Make recommendations to improve performance measures and reporting as appropriate
- Develop reports, papers, briefing notes, and presentations for internal/external stakeholders
- Project Management_
- Lead projects including project management responsibilities
- Coordinate work of others on a project by project basis
- Policy Development_
- Facilitate policy development ensuring input from all stakeholders (residents, staff, management, other)
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of policies, protocols and procedures for the Division including facilitating change discussions
- Develop standards and best practices
**What you’ll need**
- University undergraduate degree in social sciences (e.g., Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Urban Planning, Political Science, Public Administration, Geography)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a large public corporate environment, in one or more of the following areas: policy analysis or development, evaluation, research, or business planning
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data, prepare reports and statements
- Proven ability to interact effectively with and engage a variety of stakeholders including: staff, tenants, business partners and community groups
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Knowledge of social housing operations, policies and procedures and relevant legislation that is applicable to Toronto Community Housing preferred
