We are looking for an **Outside** **Account & sales representative **to join our team. In this role, you will use your well-established people and customer service skills to work directly with clients to understand and support their needs as well as adding value to the business. You will assist customers with selecting colours for their Granite, Quartz, Marble or Porcelain countertops. You will also assist with recommending appropriate sinks, faucets, etc. to best match each individual customers' needs. The successful applicant will be professional in personal presentation and possess exceptional customer service and people skills.

Some of the responsibilities included in this role are:

- Leverage your cold-calling & closing skills to expand an existing portfolio within a high demand market
- Conduct outside sales visits to potential clients, custom home builder, commercial developers and others
- Visiting & meeting with potential clients to secure future business opportunities
- Identify and pursue Custom home Builder, New Builder, Designer & Commercial developer account opportunities while taking the time to gain an understanding of their business requirements.
- Provide day-to-day account/project management for specific projects and clients while being responsible for identifying opportunities to support and strengthen existing client relationships
- Generating quotes upon completion of design consultation, contacting vendors for pricing, following up on sales quotes, discussion of warranties, basic care and maintenance and processing orders based upon company guidelines and targets
- Following up on new and existing leads, working with the sales staff to monitor effectiveness of sales leads
- Assist in the resolution of customer service issues
- Familiarity with multiple forms of Social media and the ability to provide meaningful content to our followers
- Assist Project Coordinator, Controller and General Manager with any special projects as required

**Requirements**:

- **Five plus years outside sales experience is a requirement**;
- **Three to Five years’ experience in the construction or related industry is a significant asset**.
- Previous experience in kitchen and bath industry or design experience would be an asset
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and a good work ethic and the ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced team environment
- Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service, presentation, communication, problem-solving and people skills
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Previous experience with scheduling is an asset
- Strong design sense and an awareness of current design trends, processes, concepts
- High attention to detail
- Outgoing individual who enjoys meeting new people with a strong focus on consultative selling
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
