**Booking Coordinator (BC)**

This position was created to fulfill the need to organize and produce the Events & Programs offered by Reptilia, such as Birthday Parties (on / off site), Educational Programs (60min lessons on / off site), Camp, Monthly Promotions and more.

**What is a day like as a Bookings Coordinator?**

(2) Arrange in the calendar a scheduling to delegate each event to an Educator,

(3) Contact Educator and Customer to confirm Booking (upon deposit recieval)

(4) Take payement & process transaction on POS (QuickBooks knowledge is an asset however, training will be provided on-site),

(5) Plan & Coordinate other/new events,

(6) Mantain inventory for Birthday Party & Camp supplies (inventory skills are an asset however, training will be provided on-site),

(7) Come up with solutions and new customers to increase sales (and comission).

**Ideal Experience**
- Has previous telephone sales or reception experience
- Has had a previous Role in which error free operation was critical.
- Has basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, most essentially Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Can manage on-site and off-site bookings from start to finish, on time and with mínimal errors.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic and cheerful when communicating with Guests.
- Well organized, understands and uses a time management and filing system.
- Has a passion for great Guest experiences.
- Comfortable working with booking quotas and is usually able to achieve or exceed them

**Non-Critical but Beneficial Competencies**
- Has a basic knowledge of reptiles
- Has had exposure to the public education curriculum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
