**The Role**:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic Accounting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes, directly impacting our operational success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meticulously review, process, and reconcile invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and contractual agreements.
- Execute precise data entry, maintaining the integrity of our financial database.
- Engage in consistent administrative tasks, including filing, typing, and document management to support the Accounting department.
- Skillfully assign and manage cost codes, facilitating accurate project tracking and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to address and resolve any discrepancies or queries related to accounts payable.
- Prepare and deliver insightful reports, offering a transparent view of the accounts payable landscape.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to processes and systems.

**A Day in the Life**:

- Start your day by reviewing incoming invoices, ensuring each aligns with its corresponding purchase order.
- Engage in focused data entry, updating our financial systems with unmatched accuracy.
- Join mid-day team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for optimization.
- Dedicate afternoon hours to report preparation, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Conclude your day by organizing and filing critical documents, ensuring seamless access and compliance.

**Requirements**:

- Dedicated experience in Accounting.
- Proficiency in Jonas Software or similar financial management systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Software Suite, demonstrating strong competence in Excel.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a track record of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
