Sous l'autorité du directeur général adjoint
- Opérations (DGAO) de la Commission scolaire,
l'adminis-trateur local pour l'éducation (ALÉ)
collabore avec la direction de l’école pour la mise en
procédures de la CSC. L'ALÉ sert de lien avec la
communauté et soutient l’engagement
communautaire. Plus spécifiquement, l'ALÉ a la
responsabilité de superviser les ressources de
l'organisation pour la communauté locale (ce qui
comprend toutes les fonctions administratives, les
installations et les activités) en appui à la mission, la
vision et les objectifs de la Commission scolaire crie.

L'ALÉ collabore aussi avec le DGAO et les
dministrateurs de la CSC sur les manières de
promouvoir une gestion optimale de ses ressources
au niveau local dans un esprit d'efficacité de
l'exploitation et d'engagement des employés.

L'ALÉ mène par l'exemple, encourage un esprit
d'équipe, engage des employés et favorise une
culture de milieu de travail conforme aux valeurs
organisationnelles de la CSC.

**FONCTIONS CARACTÉRISTIQUES**

Contribue au développement et à la mise en oeuvre
du Plan d'action stratégique global de la CSC (plan
quinquennal), ainsi qu'au processus de planification
annuel (priorités et objectifs).

Supervise les budgets scolaires, incluant la
préparation, la mise en œuvre, la surveillance et
l’administration, conformément aux politiques,
règlements et procédures de la CSC.

**NATURE OF WORK**

Reporting to the Deputy Director General
- Operations (DDGO) of the Cree School Board (CSB),
the Community Education Administrator (CEA)
collaborates with school management in the
implementation and monitoring of CSB policies and
procedures. The CEA is the link to the community
and supports community engagement. More
specifically, the CEA is responsible for overseeing
the organization’s resources for their specific
community (includes all administrative functions,
facilities and activities) in support of the Cree School
Board’s mission, vision and goals.

The CEA also collabortates with the DDGO and CSB
administrators on how to promote the optimal
management of its resources at the local level and
within the spirit of operational effectiveness and
employee engagement.

The CEA leads by example, fosters a spirit of
teamwork, engages employees and facilitates a
workplace culture in keeping with the CSB
organizational values.

**CHARATERISTIC FUNCTIONS**

Contribute to the development and implementation
of the overall CSB Strategic Action Plan (5-year plan)
as well as the annual planning process (priorities
and objectives).

Oversee the school budgets, including the
preparation, implementation, monitoring and
administration according to CSB policies, by-laws
and procedures.

Conformément au Plan d'action stratégique, il
développe et exécute un plan individuel visant à
favoriser le succès de l'école et des élèves, et à
répondre aux besoins de la communauté.

S'assure du respect global des politiques,
règlements, programmes, procédures et conventions
collectives de la CSC.

Collabore avec le directeur de l'école pour la
préparation et l'administration du budget local, du
plan de classification et du Plan d'amélioration local
de l'école (LSIP).

Sert d'agent de liaison et de coordination pour les
sujets se rapportant à l'école locale, entre le conseil
de bande, le comité d'école, le directeur de l'école,
les entités locales, les différentes organisations et les
membres de la communauté.

Il est responsable de l'administration de toutes les
propriétés (meubles et immeubles) de la CSC mis
sous sa responsabilité dans la communauté, y
compris la supervision et la coordination du
personnel d’entretien, des travaux de réparation, des
projets spéciaux, des acquisitions, ainsi que la
gestion de tous les programmes et contrats
d'entretien.

Il est responsable de la gestion des unités de
logement placées sous sa responsabilité,
conformément aux politiques de la CSC.

Il gère le programme de chambre et pension.

Responsable des contrats de transport locaux et des
autres activités de transport.

Participe à la sélection et à l'allocation des
ressources (y compris les calendriers de travail et les
absences), supervise le coaching et le
développement professionnel de tous les membres
de l'équipe de soutien non pédagogique sous son
autorité directe.

Collabore avec le Comité d'école pour tous les
problèmes se rapportant aux ressources humaines
concernant le personnel de soutien non
pédagogique, ce qui comprend : surveillance de leur
embauche et affectation, promotion, mutation,
congés autorisés, rétrogradation, suspensi
