**The team**

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for an 18-month term contract who is passionate about matching people with the right opportunities and thrives in a complex multi-union environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Collaboration with hiring leaders and leading the end to end talent acquisition process from recruitment planning, sourcing strategy and offer negotiation.
- Developing talent acquisition plans for assigned client groups based on department equity objectives and resource requirements.
- Participate in recruitment projects including diversity outreach, partnership networks and supports the University as brand ambassadors.

**This is an 18-month term contract.**

**Qualifications**

- Post secondary studies in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Completion of CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) and/or MIRHR is considered an asset.
- Well-developed organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing schedules and priorities.
