**Job Summary**:
The Product Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all Luminis products. This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of the BOMs, supports engineering and design changes, and collaborates with various departments to optimize production processes.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:

- Creation and Maintenance of BOMs: Develop and update BOMs for new and existing products, ensuring all components and assemblies are correctly listed.
- Data Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of BOM data, including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and units of measure.
- Engineering Change Management: Process and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure all changes are integrated into the BOMs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure BOMs meet production requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of BOMs and associated documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve BOM management processes and implement best practices.
- Other Related Tasks: Perform other tasks related to BOM management and product documentation.

**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**:
**Qualifications**:

- Education: College diploma (DEC) in operations and logistics management, industrial engineering, office automation, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in BOM management software and ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications.
- Bilingual French and English: To serve clients and external service providers across Canada and USA

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Experience with Oracle.
- Experience in lighting.
