We're looking for an energetic individual to join our growing HR team to support the continuous growth of Felix. The HR Generalist will provide support to the daily operations of the HR department thereby contributing to the efficient and professional delivery of HR programs, processes, and services across Felix.

This is a full-time office-based position, and you must be available to work between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday in our office in Yaletown.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the onboarding process: conduct background checks, draft contractual agreements, facilitate new hire orientation sessions, provide a tour of the office and conduct new employee check-in meetings.
- Assist with the offboarding process: conduct exit interviews, notify relevant departments, and prepare employee files for archiving.
- Draft and process HR documentation including employment confirmation letters, probation completion letters, promotion and job title change letters.
- Ensure the timely and accurate data entry of information into the BambooHR system, maintain records on changes, and communicate those changes to the necessary stakeholders.
- Administer benefits programs for employees to ensure appropriate enrolment coverage and data accuracy.
- Draft HR content for the monthly newsletter.
- Assist with organizing company events when required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Completion of post-secondary studies, with a focus in HR preferred.
- Good knowledge of HR employment standards in BC.
- Solid working experience with HRIS and ATS.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Keen attention-to-detail with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Proven record of taking responsibility and using good judgment, always including exercise of discretion and confidentiality.
- Adaptable and flexible with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with a team.
- Previous experience in fast-paced start up environment is an asset.
