**Position Title**: Associate Dean, Continuous Professional Learning (FLAS)

**Status**: Full-Time Admin

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences

**Campus/Location**: Primarily North Campus, but expectations for Lakeshore and occasionally IGS

**Salary**: $121,455 - $182,183

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the Senior Dean, FLAS, the Associate Dean, Continuous Professional Learning (AD, CPL) is accountable for providing academic and administrative leadership, supervision, and direction to employees, contractors, and students within the Faculty. The AD leads the planning, development, delivery, and ongoing review of CPL programming and services (including external government/non-government contracts) within the Faculty. They are also responsible for the ongoing development and oversight of the Faculty’s work-integrated learning strategy and operations.

Critical to this role is a focus on creating a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) among the faculty and staff in the portfolio, as well as leading the portfolio in the integration of EDI within curricula, pedagogies, and assessment strategies. The incumbent will be expected to articulate the portfolio’s commitments and concrete actions regarding EDI to students, other academic areas within Humber, placement partners, and other external stakeholders.

- Ability to build, maintain, and grow partnerships with community, industry, and other educational partners
- Ability to research, identify, enact, and promote opportunities for new non-post-secondary programming, including business-to-business opportunities
- Ability to design culturally responsive, industry-responsive, and high-quality curriculum and programming that is flexible and provides students with the opportunity to personalize their learning journey
- Experience leading development projects for online and technology-enhanced programming
- Experience creating and identifying professional development opportunities for faculty members who are building and teaching courses in the online environment
