Accounts Receivable and Payroll Coordinator

Mississauga, Canada Daytona Freight Systems Inc Full time

**Accounts Receivable**
- Generate Invoices.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Work collaboratively with Accounts Receivable Clerks, Accounts Payable Team, and other Accounting Staff to ensure accuracy in finances.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.
- Assist in general financial management and analysis.

**Payroll Coordinator**
- Coordinate with HR and update payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.
- Calculate pay according to hours worked, incorporating leaves and overtime.
- Initiate periodical payments timely either by preparing and administering checks or making direct deposits through a bank payment system.
- Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
- Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll and answer employee questions or complaints.
- Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to the supervisor.
- Work with authorities on audits or requests.

**Skills Required**:

- Familiarity with General Accounting Principles, Payroll rules, and Accounts Receivable policies.
- 1-year experience in Accounts Receivable and Payroll Processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software - QuickBooks.
- An ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
- A keen eye for detail.
- An ability to work independently.
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with clients.
- A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals.
- A desire to work in a positive and empowering work environment.

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
