**Salary**: The salary range for this position is CAD $45.46/Hr. - CAD $65.35/Hr.
Summary:
Reporting to the **Lead, Education & Training**, the **Manager,** **Learning Centre** will oversee Foundry's LMS, working closely with a **Database Systems Administrator** and **Learning Content Development Specialist** to ensure smooth course delivery and user support. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop impactful, evidence-based training programs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Manage LMS Operations**: Oversee course schedules, participant registrations, and provide user support while managing queries and resources.
- ** Lead Training & Development Initiatives**: Partner with Foundry teams and external stakeholders to create and deliver high-quality educational opportunities.
- ** Develop & Align Training Programs**: Plan and curate online education programs in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
- ** Drive Curriculum & Instructional Design Projects**: Lead the creation and vetting of RFPs and manage the full lifecycle of curriculum and instructional design projects.
- ** Standardize and Roll Out Training Materials**: Create, maintain, and implement standardized training programs, materials, and assessment tools on the LMS.
- ** Lead Technical Solutions**: Serve as the technical lead in the Education & Training Pod, implementing technical solutions in partnership with the Tech Pod.
- ** Experience with Brightspace (Desire2Learn LMS)** and familiarity with **Articulate Rise 360** and **Articulate Storyline**.
- Strong skills in **instructional design** and a solid understanding of **e-learning development**.
- A background in managing **learning management systems** and leading **curriculum development** projects.
What You Bring:
Graduation from a recognized degree program in health sciences, social sciences, health research, communications, policy or related field plus five (5) years’ recent, related experience in the program area or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of the program area and related services, legislation, standards, policies and values.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and promote collaboration and change management, and work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to utilize initiative, vision, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to develop and implement program/project plans and realize project completion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others and manage a team.
- Effective communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
- Effective facilitation, persuasion and negotiation skills to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills. Expertise in plain language writing is an asset.
- Demonstrated success in program or project delivery and execution of project management methods.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), and the PHC’s signatory to the Declaration of Cultural Safety and Humility.
- Ability to prioritize, and to plan, coordinate, and organize work.
- Ability to operate required equipment.
- Ability to travel for meetings as necessary.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
