An _**Airport**_ _**Operations**_ _**Manager**_ to provide an outline of the responsibilities assigned to the position in the Winnipeg Airport. This position reports to the Regional Manager to ensure the successful management of the services that SRG Provides to the Winnipeg Airport.

**Summary**:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Airport Operations Manager maintains direct client service responsibilities within the area. The incumbent will provide direction and coordination to all designated security personnel and to ensure proper enforcement of all SRG policies and procedures and those requirements of the client. The Airport Operations Manager ensures all written and verbal information is communicated to staff.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Direct management of the Airport Security Services.
- Direct management of the SRG Airport staff in Winnipeg.
- Direct supervision of the Shift Managers, Site Supervisors, and employees in Winnipeg.
- Ensuring non-billable Overtime is averaged no higher than 0.5% at anytime.
- Ensure the Schedules for the Airport, Standard Aero and GSE Building are completed 8 weeks in advance.
- Conduct random walk-through checks of the Air Terminal Building and Airport campus.
- Ensure payroll and subsequent billing information is reviewed and accurate
- Ensure All position schedules are designed to maximize the financial return from the area.
- Ensure contractual positions has up-to-date and comprehensive Site Standing Orders.
- Maintaining assigned client sites cell phone inventory, radios, keys for the area.
- Ensure all personnel's assigned to the site have proper equipment to conduct their duties.
- Ensuring Finance receives all information required for billing (bi-weekly and monthly) in an accurate and timely basis.
- Ensure regular on-time maintenance and cleanliness of all vehicles assigned to the site.
- Conduct random site visits to inspect guards for quality control purposes.
- Emergency contact after hours when Shift Managers/Guards encounter issues requiring assistance.
- Manage ADP to ensure it is always working and guards are utilizing it correctly.
- Enter new reports in ADP as they come and update the report templates.
- Ensure any reports/pick-ups deliveries to and from sites are coordinated with the Client and the Office.
- Input daily reports/ADP patrols and maintain/coordinate ADP to ensure it is always working and guards are utilizing it correctly.
- Provide administration/finance with complete and detailed information required for billing in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all contractual positions have up-to-date and comprehensive Site Standing Orders.
- Conducting shift briefings and attending other meetings as required.
- Ensuring guards have proper equipment to conduct their duties.
- Perform/coordinate all SRG COR safety program managerial requirements and assists in the operations of the COR SRG safety program as it relates to employees, sites, and assignments.
- Coordinate with specified client representatives on operational effectiveness to ensure client satisfaction.
- Liaising with the management team for development and implementation of new business contracts including Standing Orders.
- Ensuring compliance of Health & Safety, Labor Relations rules, Collective Agreements and external governing authorities.
- Providing assistance and guidance to supervisors respecting interpretation, administration and compliance of the articles of the collective agreements.
- Maintaining a broad understanding and knowledge of current rules, regulations and statutes imposed by authorities having jurisdiction and ensuring these are followed by all personnel to ensure 100% compliance.
- Following all policies and processes of SRG and ensuring the SRG team members are following all policies and processes.
- With the assistance of the Regional Manager and/or HR, conducting internal investigations including but not limited to client complaints, customer complaints, staff complaints, accidents, disciplinary action, and take appropriate measures to resolve the issue.
- Report emergencies to the Regional Manager immediately. Responding to all emergencies as required and take appropriate action.
- Ensure the Training Matrix is accurate and up to date.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Holding a RAIC is an asset.
