National Fire Equipment Ltd. is an integrated supplier of fire sprinkler systems selling products to installing contractors in the new construction building and retrofit markets. **Description**
The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth by actively engaging with potential and existing customers to promote our products/services, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relationships. This position will be responsible for executing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
**Responsibilities**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, educate them about our products/services, identify sales opportunities.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and respond to inbound inquiries to promote our offerings, address customer questions, and guide them through the sales process.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services and address customer objections.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, action plans, and campaigns to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and individual strategy plan targets (ISPs).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and sales forecasts using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Follow up with leads, quotes, and proposals in a timely manner to move prospects through the sales pipeline and close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive products/services to effectively position our offerings in the market.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives and provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary education is an asset.
- Minimum two - three (2-3) years direct experience with sales, telemarketing, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of both independently and as part of a team.
