**Responsibilities**:
The Finance Assistant is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process using Sage Intacct, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong communication with vendors and internal stakeholders. The Finance Assistant has a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration and/or relevant experience;
- Experience in working with Sage Intacct will be considered a strong asset;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- Must pass YWCA Security Clearance with a successful vulnerable sector and criminal background check;
- Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence;
**Remuneration**:$25/hour

**Duties**:
- Invoice Processing:
- Receive and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization;
- Enter invoices into Sage Intacct accurately and in a timely manner;
- Payment Processing:
- Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments;
- Ensure payments are in compliance with organizational policies and vendor terms;
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies;
- Vendor Management:
- Maintain vendor records in Sage Intacct, including contact information and payment terms;
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues;
- Cultivate positive relationships with vendors;
- Expense Reporting:
- Review and process employee expense reports;
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and reconcile receipts;
- Month-End Close:
- Assist in month-end closing activities;
- Generate relevant reports;
- Recordkeeping:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date files;
- Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately for audit readiness;
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to address any issues;
- Provide support during audits as needed;
- Any other duties as requested by the Finance Manager and
Directors;
**Probation**: All YWCA Prince Albert positions contain a three-month probation period.
