**Position Summary... **:The Manager, eCommerce Marketing is responsible for designing and deploying strategies for the growth of multiple categories of the Walmart eCommerce business. This includes primary responsibility for demand generation (traffic), acquisition, engagement and retention of new customers for parts of Walmart’s eCommerce business, operating with an agile approach to ensure continuous optimization of the marketing plan. This role will also ensure that customer experience tactics and strategies are being deployed to drive loyalty with Walmart to include proactive relationship mgmt. and reactive problem resolution.

**What you'll do...**:
1. Lead the development, deployment and ongoing optimization of marketing strategies to build customer awareness and consideration for Walmart’s eCommerce offerings.
2. Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy/plan to support the eCommerce business and integration with all marketing activities.
3. Develop and support the implementation of demand generation solutions by identifying business needs; building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
4. Work directly with the agencies and broader marketing team to continually optimize performance of our digital channels, reduce Cost Per Acquisition/Cost Per Order and improve ROI by leveraging the synergies of the larger organization and media efficiencies.
Lead cross-functional team in development of customer segmentation strategies and compelling, personalized communications to increase sales, purchase frequency and engagement with Walmart eCommerce customers
5. Liaise with the Insights & Digital teams to understand the uptake of overall customer propositions and Marketing activities. Understand contribution to the overall P&L for Ecommerce lines of business.
6. Liaise with the customer service team to understand customer feedback. Work with key stakeholders to define strategies and plans that optimize satisfaction, customer retention, and loyalty
7. Develop communication plans and cadence, in conjunction with merchandizing, site experience and customer marketing Central Operations
8. Support for various ad hoc eCommerce projects on an as needed basis. (e.g. new launches, Executive presentations, performance deep-dives, etc)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred
- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in
- Industries: eCommerce, Retail, B2C, D2C, Loyalty, Fintech.
- Roles: Product Management, Digital Marketing, Management Consulting
- Marketing strategy including Positioning and Value Proposition Development
- Omni-channel/digital marketing savvy
- Quantitative analysis and modeling skills are important
- Process project management savvy
- Insights/customer-minded & analytical
- Experience working in agile environment specific to digital media
- Experience developing personalized, data-driven marketing programs to increase customer loyalty
- Communications skills - leading meetings, work sessions, brainstorming, planning sessions, iterations and briefing development discussions; excellent presentation skills
- Direct experience in e-commerce an asset
- Retail experience is an asset ‎
