- About the role:

- Our team is growing We are looking for a Business Development Representative for our flagship franchise in Metro Vancouver. This is an exciting position offering constant variety with no two days or clients ever being the same.
- We are not just looking for an employee, but rather a partner who is motivated by building something bigger together. The person in this role needs to exhibit and lead our core values of Passion, Integrity, Professionalism & Empathy while driving top and bottom line results. In this position you have the opportunity to be the first face of our brand. Most days you are mobile, exploring every corner of our beautiful city, and connecting with future partners and learning about their upcoming projects.
- We’re looking for someone who’s looking to expand on an already flourishing network of local trade partners and clients, assist with the creation of proposals and other business development activities and lead continuous business improvement efforts. WOW is looking for someone who has the ability to use their professional skills and experience to help drive our continued success in capturing market share and executing on our promises and core values.

A typical day includes your time spent connecting with other trade professionals to build ongoing relationships and a stream of self generated leads through selected trade partners. This would include but is not limited to joining BNI, attending networking events, and cold calling other trades such as realtors, designers, and contractors.
- Once you have found your clients, you will view potential projects, analyzing their space, giving welcomed advice, and taking accurate measurements. With this, you will use our sophisticated platform to build out a precise quote (to the penny) in just a few minutes. Once you have reviewed the price on the spot with your potential client, your day includes scheduling their project in the same visit.
- Once a project is confirmed, you are the project manager. Building notes and setting clear expectations to be handed off to our operations team; you are the link between excited new clients and committed painters. Our operations team will then execute a flawless one day project, giving you updates throughout the day if any changes happen.

You have a passion for sales, and enjoy building the sale through every step in the customer experience.
- A successful Business Development Representative manages communication through a variety of streams, keeps their day to day organized, and brings a contagious energy to each interaction. This is an entrepreneurial role, the most tenacious people make the most money, there is no ceiling on potential earnings or impact. - You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable interacting with others.
- You have experience in a customer service environment, driving sales and overcoming objections.
- You understand the importance of building lasting relationships, getting referrals, and following up on potential clients.
- You are a natural leader and an exceptionally hard worker. You have built and led teams before, and you are not afraid to ‘lead from the front’ and get your hands dirty to leave a customer with an exceptional experience.
- You are driven, but you are coach-able and have experienced being on a winning team. You are energized when you are working on your own (independently), as well as when you are with others.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop local alliances and trade partnerships.
- Enact business plans with assigned accounts.
- Create solutions for business problems.
- Secure sales, develop consultations and project plans.
- Research and communicate with customers around technical specifications.
- Complete tracking and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Provide Scope and detailed work order notes to the Operations team to ensure excellent communication, seamless project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in WOW 1 Day Painting conferences and training events.
