Our rental fleet consists of the equipment needed to get the job done on time and on budget in our demanding marketplace.
As a result of our growth, NorthStar Equipment Rentals is currently seeking to hire an additional **Territory Manager** in Edmonton. The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating revenue by maintaining existing customer accounts and creating and serving new accounts primarily in the Edmonton area. In addition, the Territory Manager will support the sale of equipment as we execute on our fleet acquisition strategy.
**Reporting to**: Sales Manager
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Daily management of designated territory in order to build relationships through regular visits to customer job sites and offices
- Ensure goals of growth and revenue targets are met successfully
- Rent and sell construction equipment and related items to an existing customer base as well generate new customers by following up in leads, sales calls, networking and relationship building
- Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitors
- Develop relationships to be a one source contact for inquiries with customers
- Attend sales meetings, branch meetings, industry shows or conventions as required
- Identify the decision makers and key stakeholders within prospective organization
- Answer customer inquiries urgently and efficiently as possible
- Always represent Northstar Equipment Rentals in a professional manor
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
**Skills & Knowledge**:
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a key focus on exceptional customer service
- Highly organized, a self-starter with good time management skills, able to work alone for long periods of time
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication
- Independent performer with track record of beating aggressive sales targets
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
- Ability to work flexible hours
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- 3+ years in the construction rental equipment business or related field
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Knowledge of local construction market and equipment a definite asset
**Salary**: $57,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
