Position Summary
The Manager, Operations will take on a leadership role within the Operations team whose primary responsibilities include the maintenance, break fix and upkeep of Metergy’s in-production meter population to ensure proper operation, regulatory compliance and read availability for efficient business operations. The position will lead a team of Project Managers, ensuring that the standards/targets set for excellence, customer satisfaction, productivity and cost control are met.
- Pro-active communication and issue identification to help the business stay ahead of potential issues to develop sufficient mitigation plans to minimize impact to business and Metergy clients and customers
- Continuous improvement to help the business operations evolve with changing market conditions and business growth plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that day to day operational problems which impact on service delivery are identified and resolved through working with field staff, Project Managers, customers, and third-party contractors.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to communicate updates and balance priorities relating to the Operations team.
- Actively participate in and drive key departmental process and procedure improvement programs as required.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Field Supervisor to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure that Project Managers submit deliverables in a timely manner.
- Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly.
- Oversee scheduling and work assignment activities to company staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Foster a safety culture.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree related to technology or construction industries
- Minimum 6 years of previous management or supervisory experience within a field operations role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners, to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs and build rapport.
- Demonstrate solid leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the company
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Self-starter with exceptional planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in working in an ISO-9001 accredited business and quality management system.
